Security Technology: Qualcomm expects $1 billion from chips for watches, speakers

Qualcomm Inc said Thursday it expects to bring in more than $1 billion in sales this fiscal year from semiconductor chips from smart watches, connected speakers and other devices outside its core business of chips for mobile phones.
