TippingPoint Threat Intelligence and Zero-Day Coverage – Week of November 27, 2017

Earlier this week, we announced the rebranding of the Trend Micro TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection product family. Starting January 1, 2018, the TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) product family will be renamed to Trend Micro Deep Discovery (DD). All functionality will remain the same.

Migrating from Advanced Threat Protection to Deep Discovery

Customers who purchased TippingPoint Advanced Threat Protection devices prior to June 10, 2017 will be able to upgrade their software to Deep Discovery. In order to upgrade the software from Advanced Threat Protection to Deep Discovery, customers need to be running the following versions, which were released in late October 2017:

• Deep Discovery Inspector 5.0

• Deep Discovery Email Inspector 3.0

Customers using the Advanced Threat Protection Analyzer product will be able to upgrade their software on their appliances to Deep Discovery Analyzer 6.0 in the first half of 2018.
